Q. Can I place the chair on a wooden floor or on a heated floor?
A. Yes, you can. However, we recommend you spread a carpet under the area where you place the chair, as the chair may damage the floor. (Please do so for the other floor materials as well.) Please also note that electrically heated carpets should be avoided, since they damage the heating element of the chair and could even ignite a fire.
Q. I have accidentally spilled water. What should I do?
A. There is a risk of electric shock. Stop using the chair immediately and do the following:
- Turn off the main power switch located in the back of the chair.
- Unplug the power plug from the outlet. Once you have done, contact your local Inada distributor for assistance.
Q. I want the massage to be stronger. What should I do?
A. Try the following:
- Use the intensity adjustment button displayed on the screen during massage.
- Sit back further in the chair and lean back.
- Remove the headrest (large) and the headrest (small).
These methods can make the massage stronger.
Q. I want the massage to be lighter. What should I do?
A. Try the following:
- Use the intensity adjustment button displayed on the screen during massage.
- Put the seat back up.
- Place a headrest (sold separately) on the back pad.
- Put the headrest (large)/ (small) back on.
- Put the headrest (large)/ (small) back on.
These methods can make the massage lighter.
Q. Can a person shorter than 150 cm (59 inch) or taller than 180 cm (71 inch) use this chair?
A. Yes, they can. However, their shoulder positions may not be aligned well for Shiatsu point locating. Try the following:
- Shorter person: Put the seat back up.
- Taller person: Lower the seat back down.
Adjust the shoulder position after Shiatsu point locating.
Q. Is there any age limit for the chair?
A. The chair is not designed for small children and those who cannot operate the chair by their own will. However, only the Concentration – Up session is available for children over 13 years old. While letting a child use the session, make sure an adult is present to supervise. Please also note that people over 80 years old should consult a doctor before using the chair, as they are in the higher risk group of having osteoporosis.
Q. Can I use the massage chair more than once a day?
A. Keep the massage session to once a day (one 30-minutes session or two 15-minute sessions) per person. If you use the chair for the health management function, you can use it more than once a day.
Q. I cannot use the Wi-Fi feature of the massage chair even when I have a Wi-Fi connection.
A. Check the environment settings. The signal must be delivered from the Wi-Fi router to where the chair is installed. In addition, the Wi-Fi connection must be properly configured. Please check the Operating Manual and set up the connection accordingly.
Q. What type of security measure are implemented for the Wi-Fi model? What should I do in case of virus infection?
A. The Internet is used for massage – related features only. Personal physical data such as blood pressure will be stored inside of the equipment as encrypted data. Data is also encrypted for the cloud network connection. Only the massage-related features use the Internet connection. Internet features are not available on the chair.
Q. Noise is present in the TV and mobile phones while using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
A. Check the following:
- Keep the chair apart from a device with noise mixed in.
- Use a different power source for the chair and a device with noise mixed in.
Q. Can I watch a movie on the tablet?
A. You cannot use the tablet for watching videos or Internet search. It is a tablet exclusively designed for Therapina and cannot to be used for Internet search and watching videos online. The tablet is not designed for Internet use.
Q. How does the version upgrade work?
A. Therapina automatically downloads the latest version automatically. Once downloading is complete, a screen to confirm the installation appears. When you confirm, the installation appears. When you confirm, the installation will be completed automatically.
